Welcome to Egypt! I am a Soldier. A soldier is a pharaoh's elite body guard. We have to protect our leader as our job. If we didn't have a pharaoh, we wouldn't have a job because we need to keep our leader safe.
All of the soldiers sleep in the same room on bunk beds. I have to get up in the morning and get ready for work. First I eat breakfast, bread. Then i get my amour on and head straight to work.
Before we go to work we eat breakfast. We usually eat bread and drink water. The officers usually get the best rations of food. We eat food but I wish we ate like the officers.
We are practicing charges and battle formation. 5,000 men practice battle formation. During battle elite archers and spearmen are always first to die.
When we have practiced enough we have breaks and get cleaned up in barracks. After that we eat dinner.
Some soldiers have night shifts to guard our pharaoh. We prepare by getting our weapons and putting our armour on. Now its time to keep he pharoah safe.
