- One day, Max was causing trouble around the house. He chased the dog and talked back to his mother.
- Lets cause trouble!

- Max was sent to his room with no dinner after talking back to his mother.
- ZZzzz...

- I miss home
- That night, Max's room turned into a forest, where he ended up where the wild things are. The wild things showed their horrifying attributes to Max as he arrived. Max was not afraid however, as he proved he was the wildest thing of all.

- Max was named king of all wild things because of his lack of fear. Afterwards, Max and the wild things created all the mischief they wanted.
- In an ironic turn of events, Max sent the wild things to sleep with nothing to eat. As Max sat by himself he missed the feeling of being loved.
- Max decided to go back home, much to the wild things' disapproval. As he got back to his room, his supper was waiting for him.
