  • After the conspirators had left, Portia entered and asked Brutus to tell her about the plot. 'Brutus is wise, and were he not in health.  He would embrace the means to come by it" (II: i: ln 258-259).

  • When Caesar reminded the Soothsayer that the ides of March has Arrived, the latter remarked that the day was not over. "The ides of march are coming" (III: i: ln 1).
