- Hello!
- My chemical symbol is Fe!
- My chemical symbol is O!
- Iron is a metal. He likes to hide in caves until the humans find him. He never really looked the way he was supposed to, so he left his friends to go explore outside. He is always happy and is known as a "positive element."
- I'm an Electron! I tell you what charge an element has!
- On his way, he met Oxygen. Oxygen, who prefers to go by Air, liked the adventurous style of Iron. The two became friends.
- TRANSFORM!
- The two elements started to learn more about each other, such as their element symbols like Fe and O. Even though their charges were opposite, they had a good "bond" together.
- Iron and Oxygen started getting gifts for each other. They each wanted to give the other a "part of them." It turns out, they both gave up an electron for the other!
- Gift for you!
- The bond between the two elements was becoming stronger, until they became an ionic bond! An ionic bond are two elements like Iron and Oxygen that give an electron to each other to become better friends. =D
- Iron and Oxygen are just one example of a happy bond. However, they were as happy as they could be. Who knew that two elements would meet one day and end up as a bond? They went on to live a great life as elements go.
