  • Produce pancreatic juice containing pancreatic amylase, lipase and trypsin. The pancreatic juice neutralises the semi-liquid food which is known as chymebecause the food (chyme) that from stomach will be acidic, is would not provideoptimum pH for pancreatic enzymes, therefore the pancreatic juice and bile willneutralises the food (Chyme).
  • Hormone produced when over consumption of cheese burger in insulin When your blood absorbed lots of glucose from small intestine due to lots ofcarbohydrates rich food, then your blood glucose level increases, thus the pancreas willproduce insulin to lower the blood glucose level by transporting the extra glucose toliver and convert the extra glucose into glycogen and store it in liver for later use.
  • The liver secretes a fluid that help with digestion. This fluid is called bile. When food enters the duodenem the bile flows along the bile duct and is mixed with the food in the duodenum.
  • Small intestineSecretion of the hormone called maltase from the cell lining of small intestine called epithelium. Maltase helps breaks down the maltose.A villi has a epithellum which is one cell thick to increase diffusion rate. Microvilli increases surface area for absortion .Lacteal absorbs fatty acids and glycerolBlood capillary absorbs glucose and amino acid
  • The bile breaks down the larger fat globules into small fat droplets. The large fat globules have been emulsified and smaller droplets have a larger surface areas compared to the larger globules .The lipases can now reach the lipid molecules that were in the centre of the large globules.
  • Small IntestinePancreatic juice is a fluid made by the pancreas. It flows along the pancreatic duct into the duodenum. Pancreatic digestion continues in the duodenum. The function of bile in the duodenum is facilitating their digestion and absorption to solubilize ingested fat and fat-soluble vitamins .
