- It all began when the Nazi Germany broke the Nazi-Soviet Pact and invaded the USSR during Word War II. This caused the USSR to join The Allied.
- BOMBING OF HIROSHIMA
- Truman told Stalin that they were working on a 'new weapon' but he was very vague and he didn't wanted to let Stalin know what the 'new weapon' was. This made Stalin feel suspicious about what they were planning on and he was afraid that the USSR might be attacked again.
- COMPETITION BETWEEN USA AND USSR
- On 17th of July 1945, The Big Three gathered up at Potsdam and agreements were reached. USA and Britain became more harsh to USSR and started to take away Stalin's power. One of them was dividing Berlin into 4 zones.
- THE END
- On the 6th of August 1945, USA dropped a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, a city in Japan. Stalin clearly witnessed it and said "They are dropping the bomb on Hiroshima, but intimidating us." This led to many conflicts.
- Both of them became very competitive. They were competing to see which side is more powerful. One of it was to see which side would get the first man on the moon. At last, USA won the spcae race.
