- The Flight of King Louis XVI and Queen Maria
- Please just let me leave! Think of the safety of my children! I am your King I command you!
- What's happening papa?
- You are under arrest King Louis, for abandoning your people when they needed you most!
- The Reign of Terror
- This is not true I support the revolution!
- I proclaim you enemies of the revolution! You are sentenced to death!
- Long live France!
- I heard them speak against the revolution! They are our enemies!
- You will meet your end at the guillotine!
- The Rise of Napoleon
- I am destined for great things! I will unite all of Europe and place the entire continent under my control!
- The King tried to escape with his family out of France. Many thought he supported the new Constitution and the revolution but now they know he didn't. Now the people wanted to get rid of the monarchy and the king and queen altogether. The King and Queen were executed which begins the Reign of Terror. Off with their heads!.
- The Downfall of Napoleon
- Wait come back! I only wanted what was best for my people! All I wanted was to bring peace to Europe!
- During the Reign of Terror thousands of people were executed by the guillotine. They would be executed simply for being suspected of going against the revolution. Neighbors would tell on neighbors to make themselves look better. The streets ran red with blood during this crazy time!
- Conclusion
- After the French Emperor Napoleon fell from power, all of the countries he conquered were restored and their old Kings and Queens were rulers there once again. New countries were created such as the German Confederation. Revolutions broke out all over South America and many countries won their freedom from Spain. France, although weak was not broken up but still remained a powerful country. Europe was at peace for a time, but that would not last long.
- Out of the blood and violence a powerful general rose. His name was Napoleon. He won many great victories and rose to become the emperor of France and the most powerful man in the world. For a time it seemed like the country was going to be just fine. However this man was obsessed with power and stopped at nothing in getting it.
- The End!
- Napoleon was a great general and in the beginnig he did great things for France but he craved more. Some say he wanted to conquer the world. Napoloen was at war with all of Europe. All of the most powerful countries fought against him and defeated him in battle. He was exiled on an island where he died a few years later. This is where the revolution truly ends.
