- Those Inventions are called the Solar Panel and Wind Turbine.
- What About Wind Turbines Mr Jay, Do they use Potential Energy???
- Solar cells seek to capture as much of the sun's light energy as possible to generate an electrical current you can use to power your home. Solar Panels use Potential Energy.
- Wind Turbines on the other hand Tyler use Kinetic Energy. Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy from the wind into mechanical power. This mechanical power can be used for specific tasks such as grinding grain or pumping water.
