Storyboard Text

  • What did you learn about at school today, son?
  • I learned about visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning. I am a visual/spatial learner.
  • I remember learning about that as a kid. A visual learner is someone who learns visually or through reading and watching.
  • So, what's a visual learner?
  • What makes you a visual learner then?
  • Reading helps me learn and I read when studying. Actually, I am reading a study guide right now. I'll go get it.
  • Study Skills
  • This book is about all the different learning styles and study skills for each of them. It says that visual learners like to read. I did not know that my fondness of reading was related to my learning style.
  • Study Skills
  • This book also says that mixing up the different learning styles and not always just studying through one can help you be a better student.
  • I will try to incorporate different learning styles into my studying like listening to podcasts and building models. This will help me broaden my learning experience.
  • Study Skills
  • How will you use this new knowledge of the different learning styles to help you succeed?
