  • Shakespeare (born April 1564) is a famous English playwright and wrote 37 plays over the course of his career, along with 154 sonnets. some of his most famous plays are: midsummer nights dream, Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet
  • Modernism
  • Samuel Coleridge was a English poet during the era of romanticism. He had bipolar disorder/ depression and poor health, leading to a lifelong drug addiction. Two of his most famous books are Finnegan's Wake and Chamber Music.
  • James Joyce
  • The Victorian Era Christina Rossetti was a Victorian poet whose first poetry book was published at the age of 12. She later became an Anglo Catholic. She wrote the poems Goblin Market and Remember.
  • The Angry Young Men
  • Modernism This was a philosophical movement that took place in the 19th and 20th century due to society changing
  • James Joyce was born on the 2nd of February 1882 and died on the 13th of January 1941. He was an Irish novelist and poet and is best known for his work "Ulysses".
  • The Angry young men were a group of mostly working middle class British playwrights and novelists. they were angry about how the country tried to fix itself after the war and that most successful novelists were from rich and privileged families
