  • The fall of Tyranny, The rise of Freedom
  • The French Revolution was a period of time from 1789 to 1799 in France where there was political instability. It officially began on the 14th of July, 1789, when the Bastille, which was a symbol of the King’s harsh policies, was stormed. The King, Louis XVI, the Queen, Marie-Antoinette and about 40,000 people were all brutally murdered.

  • The Third Estate was kicked out of the Estates General. The First and Second were the only ones allowed back in the meeting. The Third had been locked out and is infuriated.

  • The Third Estate is annoyed so they agreed to not stop meeting until they came up with
  • The Third Estate needed weapons. They stormed the Bastille and destroyed the place brick by brick. They started the revolution.
  • The March on Versailles was historic and showed that the people of France were serious. The thing was that King Louis and Marie Antoinette had already left.
