Alexander Hamilton convinced them not to chose me. So not fair, I must get revenge.
The Congress has come back to us with an answer to who won the Election of 1800. Thanks to an argument made by Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson has been chosen to be the 3rd President of the US.
A Couple Weeks Later
It appears I have gotten another letter from Burr saying he wants to duel. He's been very mad at me since I helped Jefferson win the Election of 1800, and I think that this time I'm going to accept the duel to calm things down a bit.
On July 11, 1804, both parties, Burr ad Jefferson had agreed to meet in New Jersey to have their duel.
I'm ready to duel!
Oh no! Aaron Burr has shot me. I had wasted my attempt at shooting at him and I thought he would too so we could resolve our arguments.
Alexander Hamilton is about to die. I need to run away before his surgeon comes and can make out my face so I will not be charged with murder.
I think that Alexander Hamilton had pissed off Aaron Burr in the past, and I can understand why Burr got mad, but I do not think that it was necessary for them to duel it out. I think that was the hardest way to not even end a problem but to just get rid of it. I think that they could have worked something out where booth of them got to live happy lives apart from eachother.
