This case was put on trial, with a jury and judge of all white men.

The jury and judge discussed, and decided that Roy Bryant and J.W. Milan were found to be NOT GUILTY. So, the two celebrated and were very happy that they weren't going to be in ANY trouble whatsoever even though they committed a terrible crime.
Emmett Till's life story has impacted American History and brought awareness to segregation and the problems that were going on during that time period.
