Streaming services are programmed for those who want entertainment on a budget or just "cut the cord" and prefer not to watch cable.
Also, since the average monthly price of cable or satellite television is over $100 consumers claim that cutting the cord saves them hundreds each year.
Some people believe that doing this is more liberating than watching whatever is televised on cable.
