They arrived at the doctors office and was immediately submitted to the back
The doctor has already seen susie and has went to the back for testing. he should be back any minute now
Hello ms. Susie. i have ran test on you and it looks like you have streptococcus pneumoniae . also known as strep throat.
ohhhh noooo. how can i get rid of it. will it get worse?
Strep throat is easily treated with antibiotics. In most cases the immune system is unable to fight the infection without the help of antibiotics. In some cases, however, the body may be able to rid itself of the infection in about two weeks.
Untreated, however, strep throat can often cause your immune system to attack itself, which may lead to rheumatic fever. The strep bacteria produces a substance that inhibits the ability of the immune system cells to respond to the infection. The substance interferes with production of a molecule that signals to white blood cells when an infection has been detected in the body, and due to this the bacteria is able to go undetected until the infection spreads.
Youre welcome susie. make sure you take these antibiotics as described on this paper. i wrote down all of the information you need to get well! have a great day!!
Oh wow! Thats interesting. Well I'll be better in no time with help of these antibiotics. thank you doctor.
