- From the time that Nathan Hale taught in the small school in New London, CT schools have advanced the education of the youth of America. This was done mostly through lecture and repetition.
- From the 1700's to the late 1970's schools did not change very much.Teacher lead and little to no explorative learning.

- The in the 1980's the world and education saw a drastic change. Computers did not have to have to be stored in large buildings, now they could sit on your desk at home. Apple Corporation gave computers to teachers and schools, thus giving the opportunity for the schools to teach more, plus it was a great marketing scheme.

- Today modern computers and the internet has allowed the world to gain knowledge in leaps and bounds. The information that is being passed every minute is amazing. Schools now have the ability to put their students anywhere in the world and to engage them in virtual reality, to show them what they may never see in a lifetime.
