Leto, goddess of Motherhood and Demureness, was hated by Hera, the wife of Zeus, for seducing him,
Leto became pregnant and when Hera found out she was furious., She forbade any place under the sun to offer shelter to Leto.
Hera even held her own daughter, Elileithyia goddess of childbirth, in her arms so she wouldn't be able support Leto in her labor.
Zeus felt bad for Leto being treated so harsh that he turned her into a bird so that she can give birth to her children.
Leto finally found a place to give birth, an island, Delos then she soon began to give birth to her children.
Leto gave birth to two beautiful children, twins actually, Apollo and Artemis.
