- Oh, no! Ghosts have attacked the cave and killed the plants and animals living there!
- There is nothing but soil and rocks left in the cave... but that will soon change thanks to secondary succession.

- Slowly, annual plants and perennial plants start to grow back.
- 50 years
- Small Shrubs, flowers, bushes, and trees begin to grow back.
- 100-150 years
- Alas, our climax community has returned to the cave! Trees, flowers, shrubs, and animals have re-made their homes in the cave.
