- Climax community
- Disturbance which is a tsunami. A tsunami is a natural disaster that is almost like a big wave that destroys the climax community that was once there.
- After the tsunami is over and everything has been destroyed from the impact of the tsunami the soil still remains.
- Shrubs and other little plants start growing back. After years of regrowth.
- The shrubs start getting bigger and more plants start to grow back and soon the climax community will return.
- Finally after years of regrowth we are back with our climax community . With secondary succession the process is much quicker then primary succession hence the soil stays.
