Los estudiantes necesitan reconocer que nuestras palabras tienen consecuencias. Cuando las víctimas son intimidadas, experimentan miedo, ansiedad y baja autoestima. Esto puede llevar a las víctimas a cambiar sus comportamientos e intereses para asegurarse de que se encuentren en una situación segura. Muchas veces esto termina con el aislamiento y la pérdida de intereses anteriores, como deportes, clubes, socializar. Esto también puede conducir a resultados más extremos. Cuando las víctimas sienten que no son aceptadas, pueden desarrollar hábitos peligrosos para ayudar a lidiar con este estrés. Esto puede manifestarse como adicción, un trastorno alimentario o incluso autolesión.
En esta actividad, los estudiantes crearán una línea de tiempo de una víctima de acoso escolar. Actividades como las que se muestran pueden ayudar a los estudiantes a visualizar el impacto de sus palabras al ayudarlos a pensar antes de hablar. El objetivo de esta actividad es prevenir el acoso escolar. Después de que los estudiantes completen su trabajo, discuta cómo el efecto a largo plazo puede persistir hasta la edad adulta.

Cree un guión gráfico que muestre el impacto de ser una víctima de acoso tanto a corto como a largo plazo.
