A Ally no le gusta la escuela. Cuando trata de leer o escribir, las palabras parecen bailar y no puede hacerlo. Su maestra no la entiende y las chicas malas se burlan de ella. Cuando su maestra se va de baja por maternidad, el mundo de Ally cambia y es gracias al Sr. Daniels. Él no es como los demás. De hecho, no se parece a nadie que Ally haya conocido.
