Tegevuste Ülevaade


President mängib USA valitsuses riigi juhina suurt rolli. Presidendi langetatud otsused mõjutavad kogu riiki ja riigi elanikke.

Presidendid peaksid olema iseendale eeskujuks. On oluline, et president demonstreerib, et on hea eeskuju ja tõhus juht. Mõned eelmised presidendid on teinud palju häid ja halbu otsuseid, millel oli riigile erinev mõju.

Selle tegevuse jaoks uurivad õpilased endist presidenti ja saavad aru, et presidendi tegevus ja selle tagajärjed mõjutavad riiki. Õpilased koguvad asjakohaste faktide kohta teavet sekundaarsete allikate kaudu ja loovad ühe presidendi jaoks kahe reaga T-diagrammi.


Näide

George Washington vastutas riigi tähtsate institutsioonide loomise eest, sealhulgas valitsuse rahandus, riiklik krediit, föderaalne maksustamine, valuuta ja pangandus. Seda tehes arenes USA välja tugeva majanduse.


Õpilased võivad klassile suuliselt esitada oma süžeeskeeme. Osale arutelus presidendi tegevuse üle ja küsi, kuidas asjad oleksid ajalugu muutnud, kui seda tegevust ei oleks tehtud. Kas president tegi õpilase seisukohalt õigesti?

Tähtaeg:

Eesmärk: Looge T-diagramm, mis kirjeldab kaht otsust, mille eelmine president tegi presidendiks oleku ajal.

The Causes and Effects a President has on the Country
Research a past president of the United States. Read about them and create a T Chart Storyboard that describes things they did during their time as President. The left side of the chart will show causes, why something happened. The right side of the chart will show effects on the country. These are direct results of something that happened. Requirements: Use pictures, writing, and, or speech bubbles in the story. Show cause, on left side of chart and effect on right side of chart. Use factual information. The T Chart is clean, neat and attractive.
