Archaeologists have found the corpse of victims of war which could mean the Aryans faced the peaceful Harappan tribe with weapons and war, which the Aryan tribe defeated the Harappans easily and took over.

Monsoons which bring heavy rains could have been relied on as a water source for the Indus river valley but as they began to move east, the city would have lacked their water supply causing a drought.
