- Lago is angry at Othello for promoting Cassio over him. He vows revenge by making Othello think that his new wife, Desdemona, is cheating on him with Cassio.
- SCENE 4
- Iago tricks Cassio into getting drunk and starts a fight, something he doesn't like. Lago tells Cassio that he will make sure to regain his position if he asks Desdemona for help.
- SCENE 5
- Lago convinces Othello that Desdemona is cheating on him with Cassio, saying that Cassio has the handkerchief. Othello swears that in three days, they will both be dead.
- THE END
- Iago tricks Cassio into breaking off his relationship with Bianca. Meanwhile, Othello, who is hiding in the background, sees Cassio with Desdemona's handkerchief and vows that he will get revenge.
- Othello suffocates Desdemona before discovering the truth. Some time later he takes his own life.
- In the end, five characters died from Iago's villainy: Othello, Desdemona, Emilia, Roderigo, and Brabantio.
