- Mary Maloney is causally sewing and waiting for her husband to get home from work

- Mary is ready to go to dinner since it is Thursday but her husband doesn't want to go out to eat. He also tells Mrs. Maloney that he is divorcing her

- Mrs. Maloney call the police and tells them that Patrick Maloney is dead. The police show up and cross Mrs. Maloney's name off the suspect list.
- Mrs. Maloney cooks the murder weapon and feeds it to the police. The police eat the murder weapon without even knowing it
