When I was a kid, I always wondered why other kids dressed so differently from me.
Libisema: 2
When I asked my mom why, she told me we were Jewish and that it’s very special. We were supposed to dress modestly, or Tznius.
Mommy, why does everyone else at the park dress so different from me?
Because sweetie, we are Jewish and we have to wear the clothes that it says in the Torah. We have to dress Tznius!
Libisema: 3
It was always hard to find clothes that were Tznius.
UnModest Clothing
Why would anyone ever dress like this?
Libisema: 4
As I got older, I realized how fun and meaningful it was to be Tznius.
I love being Tznius! I look gorgeous

Everytime I put on a skirt, I feel so connected to Hashem, my G-d.
I bet Hashem is so proud of me

We met a lady there and she asked us why we were so modest
WELCOME TO KNOTT’S BERRY FARM!
I saw a bunch of girls with skirts walking around, and I was wondering what kind of religion are you? Amish? Mormon?
We’re actually Jewish!
Libisema: 9
She was so excited to hear that!
WELCOME TO KNOTT’S BERRY FARM!
I’m also Jewish actually!
No way! Nice to meet you.

I’ve always loved going to a Jewish school, and it’s so fun that I get to wear skirts with everyone else!

When I was in sleepover camp, there was a counselor who wore her skirt to bed, in case Mashiach came in the middle of the night!
Wow, it’s such amazing dedication of her to wear a skirt.
Libisema: 12
I thought about what it would be like if Mashiach DID come in the night
Oh no! I’m not wearing a skirt!
