- FIND THE MURDERER!
- One day Oedipus was approached by a drunk man who claimed his parents weren't his real parents.Because of this Oedipus decided to go to an oracle to find the truth. The oracle then states his prophecy is that he will Kill his father, marry his mother and go blind. Oedipus refused to live out this prophecy so he ran away from his home town to avoid it.
- While oedipus is heading to the the city of Thebes he encounters a spynx which had been terroizing the city. Oedipus slays the spyx and become the new hero of Thebes and the towns people all priase him. Due to becoming the hero that saved thebes they asked him to help fight the deadly plague speading htier town and he promised to do so.
- Oedipus then told his bother in-law to consult in the god Apollo to figure out why there was a plague and how to solve it. Apollo states the only way to know is to talk to the god Zeus so Oedipus goes to consult in him. Zeus revels that the plague is a punishment for the unavenged death of their dead king, King Laius but he will stop once the killer is found.,Oedipus and the towns people plead the other gods to persuade Zeus to change his mind about punishing them, or help them find the killer.

- Oedipus orders everyone to find the killer and tell him any thing they know about the murder. He was then told by the townspeople to seek information and help from Tiresias, the blind profit who knows everything. Tiresias denies telling him anything, until Oedipus forces him to tell him something, Tiresias revels that Oedipus is the killer of king Laius. Oedipus is furious learning this information and claims him and Creon are trying to take his postilion as king.
- YOU ARE THE KILLER!
- Tiresias then states, the killer will become blind and will turn to be both the son and husband of his own mother. Oedipus does not believe it for one second and demands the people to continue looking for the killer. Oedipus states Tiresias is wrong and is not profit from the gods. This makes the whole town question Tiresias' powers and if he has the right to speak for the gods as a mortal human. The people side with Oedipus no matter what even though they fear his prophecy might be true.
- Jocasta states not all prophecy's are true because hers was never fulfilled. She reveals her prophecy was, her husband would be killed by his own son and marry his mother but she got rid of her son as a baby. so Oedipus finds the Sheppard that witnessed the murder of King Lauis and the one who was ordered to murder Jocasta baby in the woods. the Shepard claims he does not recognize Oedipus. But does confess to giving Jocasta baby to a Shepard from a different town instead of killing it.
