He grabs a magical sword hanging on her wall and wields a deadly blow. Then, he spots Grendel's corpse and severs his head

- Last Words

- Beowulf was a hero because he fended off Grendel and stopped him from killing any more of Hrothgar's men. This showed his great loyalty to Hrothgar and his people. In conclusion, Beowulf is my hero because of his outstanding fighting skills, his great strength, and finally his great loyalty.
