- Cruelty: Snape was cruel to almost everyone around him . He didn't know how to treat people other than himself

- not 100% good or evil: He worked for both the "good" or "bad" side. He did things for both sides , but he was mostly loyal the good side .
- desire for power: he desires power more than anything. He doesn't care about anything more than power and it gets the best of him.
- unforgiving: Snape was unforgiving because of his past and how it effects his present and future self.
- Troubled past: Snape has a troubled past with Harry Potters parents which effects Potter.

- Severus Snape became an anti hero because of his troubled past and how it effected his future. Most of his anti hero traits come from Harry Potter's past with Snape. Potter's father is the person who loathed him in school and kept bullying him throughout school. He bullied him in the most humiliating ways. He did this in front of the whole school and Harry Potters dad also married the girl that Snape liked. His past lead to his six main anti hero traits. Most of those traits were aimed toward Harry Potter, and the people that were associated to him. Snape made Harry Potter's life hard but he also helped Potter in the end. One of his main traits not being 100% good or evil played a huge role in Snape's later life, when Potter was around. These traits made him less likable and made it easier to not help him and eventually lead to his demise.
