About Alexander Hamilton's life story.

- A illegitimate son of an Scottish immigrant and a a British West Indian who happened to be married to someone else at the time, was born. His name was, Alexander Hamilton.
- Charleston, Nevis 1755
- When he was about 13, his mother died from yellow fever leaving him an orphan. He was soon taken in by a prosperous merchant.
- When he reached his teens, he was sent to New York to pursue his education and he took an early role in the militia as the American Revolutionary War began.
- 1774- was enrolled in King's College at age 16.
- 1777, he participates in the battle of Princeton.
- Elected to the Continental Congress in 1782 but resigned in 1783 and became a lawyer in New York.
- 1798, he is elected as second in command by George Washington.
- 1804 in a duel with Aaron Burr. The duel occurred early in the morning of July 11, 1804, Vice President Burr shot Hamilton, while Hamilton's shot broke a tree branch directly above Burr's head. Hamilton was carried to the home of William Bayard Jr. where he died the next day.
