- The emperor asked Breaker to build a bridge to his hunting palace.
- Breaker and his men waded through the water and tried to place two piers in the middle of the river.
- The river was so strong it swept the rocks and logs away - destroying the piers.
- After Breaker gave the old man his crutch, he gave him two pellets and told him to drop them in the river.
- When Breaker dropped the pellets the piers were built magically.
- When Breaker went to tell the Emperor that he finished the old man appeared, then Breaker found out that the old man was immortal.
