- USA and Periodic Table are talking.
- "How are your states?" Periodic table asked "Good," replied USA, "I'm just writing about my states capitals."
- "Whats a state capital?" Asked Periodic Table "A state capital is a City that represents one of my states." Replied USA
- "Oh!" Periodic table said, "We have something like that, but we call them Element Symbols." "Cool, but, what are they?" USA asked
- "An Element symbol is one or two letters used to represent one of my elements." Periodic Table said "Oh! They are alike!" USA said
- "For example, Oxygen's Element Symbol is: O." Periodic Table explained. "One of my state capitals is, Trenton, New Jersey!" USA said. "I guess were pretty alike and we didn't even know it!" Periodic table said.
