- During the experiment, the next time Jana tuned into her streaming app, an advertisement (STIMULUS) appeared during the show. This annoyed Jana because she dislikes when her show is disrupted by ads.

This is an example of NEGATIVE REINFORCEMENT as the STREAMER APP gives the TV viewer the option to remove an unpleasant stimulus and it is gaining the desired behavior of the customer of paying a monthly subscription. This is an example of CONTINUOUS REINFORCEMENT SCHEDULE since the STREAMER APP can continue to offer an ad-free experience with a higher monthly fee next quarter and so on.
