Inciting Incident
Rising action
The day in June was coming to an end and twilight faded to night. Dublin was completely dark other than the dim light of the moon. Republicans and free staters ar at war. A republican sniper lay watching with his rifle and binoculars.
Climax
He decided it was worth a risk to take a quick smoke. He quickly lit the cigarette and took a smoke. Almost immediately a bullet hit the parapet next to him. He put it out and moved to the left.
Falling Action
An armored car from the opposing side of the war came and parked across the street. An old woman came and muttered something to the soldiers. The gunner turned towards the sniper. In a split second the sniper fired a shot and the gunner fell to the floor dead. The next second he shot the woman and she fell into the gutter. However, the sniper was shot in the arm.
Resolution
The sniper only had a revolver left to use. He had a plan. He put his rifle visible to the other sniper. The opposing sniper shot and he acted dead. Then he raised when least expected and shot the sniper straight in the chest with his revolver.
The sniper became very curious. He wanted to know the identity of the person he had just killed. He thought that the opposing sniper had been a good shot. He ran across the street dodging bullets and when he got to where the dead man lay behind the building he stopped.
The sniper turned over the body and looked into his brother's face.
