- Every time sally clicks the clicker she gives Charlie a treat!
- The unconditioned response is Charlie salivating after receiving a treat!

- Now every time Sally clicks the clicker, Charlie comes running expecting a treat!
- When Charlie hears the click she starts salivating expecting a treat, this is the conditioned response!
