A day in the life of a physical therapist

- Uhhh! I don't want to wake up but unfortunetly I have to.
- The first thing I have to do is wake up, get dressed, eat breakfast, brush my teeth, and anything else that helps me get ready for my long day.
- As a therapist, I have to wear these scrubs bc it's what the job requires me to wear.
- Well now that I've arrived at my workplace without getting in a wreck, I'm now going to go inside.
- Hey Dr. Steelzman, who's my patient?
- Then I always check in with my boss and get some information on the patient or ask about anything else if I'm confused.
- Oh um your next patient is a 13 yr old girl. Her name is Amara. I believe you've already worked with her.
- Do you remember the stretches we did last week Amara?
- Yes. I'm pretty sure I remember.
- I then work with that patient that my boss wants me to work with by assigning them stretches and physical activities to help with their injeries or any type of pain.
- Your daughter is making a lot of progress. I'm really proud of her and her hard work. Soon she might even be able to hoop again!
- Then the last thing I do in my daily job is talk to the patients parents to tell them how it went and other important information that they need to know.
- Yay. That's amazing. My baby has been missing being able to play her favorite sport.
- I'm really happy!
- THATS GREAT NEWS!
- I finally get to go home after a long day of hardwork. And that was my dailey life as a physical therapist. I do this every single day and allthough I get exhausted, I do enjoy doing my job!
- Oh my goodness! I'm so exhausted and glad to back home!
