- Pebbles and Rockalina are conjoined rock lovers since 3 billion years ago. They never want to separate, but the rock cycle thinks differently. They go through many things, but everything works out in the end.

- Weathering, Erosion, and Sedimentary Rock
- One day, when Rockalina and Pebbles were floating down the river, the weathering that had been breaking them down over time separated them. They became little broken-up pieces of rock called sediments. The erosion, which is when broken up pieces of rock get moved, brought their sediments to the bottom of the river. Their sediments were cemented together by other sediments and were made into sedimentary rock.

- Pebbles and Rockalina were squished into the Earth with so much heat and pressure that they became metamorphic rock. This changed them so much that they didn't even recognize each other. Pebbles had been turned into gneiss and Rockalina had been turned into marble.
