  • THE TEA ACT
  • TeaCost: FreeTax: Infinity
  • In 1773, The Parliament attempted to save a struggling East India company by letting them sell their tea to the colonists. Although taxes were reduced from the tea, the Parliament still taxed the colonists for it. The colonists were furious. Many men met up and called themselves the "Boston Tea Party." The party climbed up on a ship with the tea and dumped all of it into the ocean as a protest for the tea tax. This lead up to the American Reveloution.
