The Proclamation line was formed because King George lll was affraid of further conflict between the colonists and the native americans. The Proclamation stated that there could be no settlement west of the Apps. mountians. This really angered the colonists because they just fought to gain all of that land and the King just took it away from them like it was nothing. So some colonists ignred the Proclamation wanting to settle wherever they want.
The Boston Massacre is said to have the first casualty, Crispus Attucks. They are many veiws of what actually hapened that night. Some people say Captain Preston ordered to fire, and that the colonists threw things to accidently set off one of the guns. After this encounter between the colonists and the British, and the colonists were angry. The soliders that shot and killed 5 colonists, were only charged with man slaughter, which angered the colonists even more.
