- The tone for the scene was happy than sad because at first everyone was happy but then the story got sad when the brother told us the true reason he was helping his brother
- Symbolism
- The word choice at the end of part 2 showed that the storm messed up the crops but it would be okay for now.
- Theme
- This scene was imagery for me when doodle first showed the parents he could walk.
- The author uses not circling back to the future as a way to show that there was nothing but pain after doodle's death.
- Pride can be good and bad if you have too much. Pride is powerful and can take over if you are not careful
