  • Hello Vivek, what's the matter, you didn't go to office today?
  • I had gone to the office but my Manager sent me back saying that my clothes are not as per Utkarsh's dress code policy.
  • hmm... your Manager is right. As a bank employee we must strictly follow the dress code policy of our bank. 
  • Please tell me how should we dress in office as per the dress code policy of Utkarsh?
  • For male employees, it is mandatory to wear formal dress from Monday to Friday. Formals includes Business Suits, Trousers, Full/Half Sleeved shirts, Tie & Shoes (Black and Brown). On Working Saturday Smart Causals includes Casual Trousers, Corduroys, Denim Trousers, Jacket, Collared T-shirts, Casual Shirts.
  • For female employees, it is mandatory to wear formal dress from Monday to Friday. Indian Attire such as Salwar-Kameez, Churidar Kurta or Saris that suit a professional environment. Western Formal Attire such as Business Suit, Formal Trousers, Jacket & long Skirt with a formal top is acceptable.
  • On Working Saturday Casual Denim/Corduroy Trousers/long Skirts, Jackets T-Shirts or Casual Shirts/tops etc. For both men and women, wearing of shorts, capris, athletic wear (such as track suits/pants) is not allowed on any day. Footwear like Sneakers, loafers Hawaii chapels or Sandals etc. is not permitted from Monday to Friday.
  • On Saturday casual foot wear like Sneakers, loafers, sports shoes are permitted but Hawaii chappels and sandals will not be allowed. Round neck T-Shirts and Torn Jeans are strictly Prohibited. Tie is mandatory for client facing roles and at General Banking Branches from Monday to Friday. Tie is not compulsory for Micro Banking and exclusive MSME and HL branches.
