But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't burn. In fact, there was another being in the furnace with them.
King Nebuchadnezzar creates a golden statue so that the people worship it.

But 3 men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who refused to worship and bow down to it. This infuriated King Nebuchadnezzar.
So he put them in a furnace so hot that it killed the guards putting them in.
The king, surprised that they didn't die, calls them out.
Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego! Come out!
They got out of the furnace without a single burn, no ash, and not even the smell of smoke.
King Nebuchadnezzar then declare that anyone who says anything agains their God would be cut to pieces and then promoted them.
