  • Wonka put a golden ticket in 5 candy bars, and the whole world went crazy because they wanted to see the mysterious factory.
  • Willy Wonka
  • Physical appearance: He was tall and he wore a velvet red jacket. Character traits: He acts like a child and says funny things. Quote: "Don't lick the boat with your tongue it will only make it sticky!"
  • Charlie was poor, but he really wanted to find a golden ticket.
  • Charlie Bucket
  • Physical appearance: He was a short, 9 year old, that looks like a skeleton because he didn't get enough to eat. Character traits: He is frustrated about being poor, but he still loves his family Quote: "But there isn't a hope", Charlie said sadly. "I only get one bar a year."
  • Charlie was disappointed that his birthday chocolate didn't come with a ticket. He got excited that the last person made a fake ticket. He found money in the street and went to the nearest store to buy more chocolate and found the last golden ticket.
  • Augustus Gloop
  • Physical appearance: He is looks like a monstrous ball of dough, he has small eyes, and he is German. Character traits: It would be impossible for him to find a golden ticket because he is obsessed with eating. Quote: "Eating is his hobby you know, that's all he's interested in".
  • The kids and their parents got to see the mysterious factory. 4 of the kids disobeyed Wonka's rules and bad things happened to them.
  • Veruca Salt
  • Physical appearance: She is a small bratty British girl. Character traits: She is demanding, bossy, and she is mean. She wanted a golden ticket so badly so her dad sent out workers to find one. Quote: "Where's my golden ticket, I want a golden ticket!!!"
  • Charlie was the only kid left, and he won because he didn't disobey Wonka's rules. Mr Wonka decided to give him the factory because he liked him the most.
  • Violet Beauregarde
  • Physical appearance: She is skinny girl, with blonde hair, and she is a gum chewer Character traits: She was a champion, and she never lost in anything, but when Wonka told her to do something and she didn't listen, she lost for the first time. Quote: "I'm a gum chewer mostly."
  • Wonka, Charlie, and Grandpa Joe traveled in the big glass elevator to Charlie's little house and took Charlie's family back to live in Wonka's factory.
  • Mike Teavee
  • Physical appearance: "He had no less than 18 toy pistols hanging on his body and every now and again he would leap up into the air and fire off half dozen rounds" Character traits: He likes to watch television. Quote: "Can't you fools see i'm watching television!!"
  • Mr Wonka owns the factory. He was the person who hid the 5 golden tickets inside the 5 candy wrappers.
  • Charlie lived together in a small wooden house on the edge of a great town. He lived with his mom and dad and 4 grandparents that haven't been out of bed for 28 years. Charlie and his parents were poor. He can't go on like this, he's beginning to look like a skeleton.
  • Augustus is a 9 year old boy that looks like he was blown up by a powerful pump and he has two small greedy eyes peering outside the open world.
  • Veruca was a lucky person who lived with 2 rich parents in a great city far away. And whatever she wants she gets it. When she wanted a golden ticket she would lie on the floor kicking and screaming in the most disturbing way. Her dad sent out some workers to open wrappers and 4 days later one worker found a golden ticket.
  • Violet is mostly a winner at everything. She is normally a gum chewer. When she found a golden ticket she told everyone that she been chewing on a piece of gum for 3 months. Sometimes she doesn't listen to adults.
  • Mike Teavee, the lucky winner, seemed extremely annoyed by the whole buisness. Mike Teavee himself had no less than 18 toy pistols of various sizes hanging from belts around his body, and every now and again he would leap up into the air and fire off half a dozen rounds from one or another of these weapons.
