Romeo and Juliet(sped up)
Act 1
Do you bite your thumb at us, sir.
The story begins with a fight in the streets of Verona between the Capulets and Montagues
No sir, I do not bite my thumb at you; but I bite my thumb, sir.
What noise is this? Give me my long sword, ho!
So, the fight began.
Thou villain Capulet!—Hold me not, let me go.
Why, such is love’s transgression. Griefs of mine own lie heavy in my breast, which thou wilt propagate, to have it prest with more of thine.
Meanwhile, Romeo infatuated and miserable, can talk of nothing but his love for Rosaline and her cruelty in refusing to love him back.
Tell me in sadness, who is that you love?
Rosaline
ohhh
O, teach me how I should forget to think.
By giving liberty unto thine eyes: Examine other beauties.
Take thou some new infection to thy eye, And the rank poison of the old will die.
Your plantain leaf is excellent for that.
My master is the great rich Capulet; and if you be not of the house of Montagues, I pray come and crush a cup of wine. Rest you merry!
I’ll go along, no such sight to be shown, but to rejoice in splendor of mine own.
