THE INDIAN REMOVAL ACT IS SIGNED INTO LAW IN 1830
The Indian Removal Act was being decided while the whites were pressuring the government to pass it. While the act was in progress there was gold found in Georgia on the land which caused the whites to pressure the government even more and the they passed the act. The Indians were then moved off their land and the government officially owned it.
