- I will explain the concept of Electromagnetism!
- In 1820, Oersted was presenting a demonstration to some science students using a magnet and a battery. That is when he accidentally discovered the relationship between electricity and magnetism.
- Electromagnetism is an interaction between electricity and magnetism, as when an electric current or a changing electric field generates a magnetic field, or when a changing magnetic field generates an electric field.
- Okay so, our lesson yesterday was all about electromagnetism right? Well, today, i want one of you to tell the whole class the concept of electromagnetism and the rest will have to choose one of the scientists that contributed to the discovery of it and tell the whole class how they came up with such theory.
- Ampere began by repeating Oersted's works and by the end of September 1820, had made a discovery of his own that is: magnetism can be produced by electricity,
