- We knew that this conflict was Man Vs. Nature because Lyddie was trying to get the bear out of her house in this scence, and a bear is a part of nature.
- In this scene, we knew it was Man Vs. Man because the Mistress was upset with Lyddie for leaving the inn and she fired Lyddie.
- We knew that this is man vs society because at that time Lyddie had to work in a mill. Women were forced to work in harsh conditions. This only occured because the society thought that this was the right thing .
