- The conflict of the story is that the lottery is a tradition to them and they don't want to change a thing about it.
- I would say the message in the story is to always communicate with others and listen to what they have to say.
- I think the authors point of the story was to show that the meaning of "Lottery" doesn't always mean something good. Things could change up and turn out to be different
- The reason why no one wanted to stop the lottery was manly because they all waited for this day all year long. Also because it was a tradition to them for a long time.
