- Wait a minute, Ted has a piece of paper with notes, he's cheating!
- When Ted and Tom were in primary school ,they were inseparable, they did everything together from playing games, doing homework and more.
- Should I report Tom, if I do, I'll lose our years of friendship. However if I don't, I'll be an accomplice to his deed.
- However their friendship suddenly took an abrupt turn when the primary school leaving examination started. Little did Ted know that his long-standing friendship would end.
- Sir, Ted is cheating!
- How dare you cheat! you shall stay in school for another year!
- It started when Ted noticed that Tom was repeatedly opening and closing a slip of paper and realized that Tom was cheating in the exam. A myriad of thoughts flooded Ted's mind.
- Should I have not reported Tom to the invigilator?
- I swear I will never be your friend again! Don't ever contact me again
- Ted was then faced with a troubling dilemma, whether to do the right thing and report his best friend Tom and terminate their friendship or to keep it a secret and sustain their friendship.
- With a heavy heart, Ted decided to do the right thing and report Tom to the invigilator. After the examination, Tom was dragged out of the examination site and was severely reprimanded, his marks forfeited and was forced to stay back in school for another year.
- After being reprimanded, Tom confronted Ted cut all ties with Ted and swore that he would never talk to Ted again, and to this day Ted still felt a pang of guilt even though he had done the right thing.
