We are Aztec women and we are ambitious! At home we cook, clean, raise the children, spin and weave cloth, make pottery and other crafts and still find time to teach at schools and perform ritual activities.

We are craftsmen and traders in the great markets- we are strong negotiators and our profits contribute to our nations wealth. Working side by side with the men, we have an equal voice as members of the craft workers’ organizations.
Who said a woman's place is in the home?! We also serve as officials in palaces and priestesses in temples. It's all in a days work! Think how far women will be in modern civilizations- women leaders with equal voices and equal pay! Right?
